When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication information through Firebase Authentication.
Connection Information
You may choose to store names of personal connections, relationship categories, important dates, reminders, notes, profile photos, and relationship goals.
Gratitude Entries
HoldClose allows users to create personal gratitude and reflection entries.
Device Permissions
With your permission, HoldClose may access contacts, notifications, camera, and your photo library. You may disable these permissions at any time through your device settings.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide and improve HoldClose services, synchronize your data securely across devices, deliver reminders and notifications, personalize your experience, maintain app functionality and security, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Firebase Services
HoldClose uses Google Firebase services for authentication, secure cloud storage, database synchronization, and application functionality. Firebase may collect technical information according to Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Contacts Access
If you grant access to your contacts, they are used only to help you create and manage relationships within HoldClose. Imported contacts are not sold to advertisers and are not shared for marketing purposes. You control which contacts are imported into the app.
Notifications
HoldClose may send notifications related to reconnect reminders, important dates, relationship goals, and app reminders. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable security measures to help protect your information. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Third-Party Services
HoldClose may rely on third-party services including Firebase by Google, Apple services, and Expo development services. These providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate the application.
Your Rights
You may update your information, delete connections and personal content, stop using the app at any time, or request account deletion by contacting us.
Children’s Privacy
HoldClose is not intended for children.
